We appreciate your interest in the Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown. The Soup Kitchen generally serves between 125 and 275 homeless people and working poor a day; it is possible only through the generosity and caring of our volunteers.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please give us a call at 973-267-0709 between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm. The Soup Kitchen office is located in the parish hall of the Church of the Redeemer, 36 South Street in Morristown.

Mission Statement
The Community soup Kitchen of Morristown, Inc. is an ecumenical effort supported and run by 34 congregations from the greater Morristown area. Our mission is to provide nutritious meals in a safe, warm, and caring environment, free of charge, to anyone who comes seeking nourishment. And, further, to provide access to community services and resources to those in need while providing opportunities for volunteers to give of themselves in service to others. Anyone is welcome regardless of age, sex, race, financial qualifications, or religious beliefs.

Our Objectives
Feed the hungry in the Morristown area. Provide a good healthy meal served in a clean, warm, safe, and friendly environment. Treat our guests with dignity. Give our guests hope. Provide an opportunity for the greater Morristown area community to do something about the problems of hunger and homelessness and to share its wealth with those in need. Provide our volunteers with a real roll-up-your-sleeves opportunity to help someone who really needs it. Provide our supporting congregations with an ecumenical experience devoted to helping others. Provide the community and schools with an opportunity to understand the needs of the poor and how to better help them. Provide an opportunity for the supporting congregations and volunteers to know the profound sense of being in community with the less fortunate.
